Mission Statement
We at UCF Child Development Center believe that every child should be in an environment that instills Christian Values through prayer, Godly examples, and scripture readings.. We believe that every child must be provided with a safe, secure, and loving environment. We believe that every child has the ability to learn. We believe that maximum opportunity should be given for each child to learn at his or her own developmental level.

Program Curriculum

  • UCF Child Devlopment Center is a Class "A" licensed facility which provides the A Beka curriculum for children ages 2-5 years of age.
  • UCF Child Development Center has a fully equipped computer lab with child friendly software that encourages learning in a fun way.
  • UCF Child Development Center Library in conjunction with the Literacy Council promotes reading through the "Family of Readers Program" . The Council provides books for a ,"Lending Library", which can be used for school and home reading.
  • UCF Child Devlopment Center provides care for infants and toddlers beginning at the age of six (6) weeks old. The "High Reach" curriculum is provided for these little ones to stimulate learning through all five senses.

We at UCF Child Devlopment Center believe that your child is precious to you, and they are precious to us also. That is why we provide a state of the art security system to monitor your childs activities and the surrounding grounds.

Our discipline plan involves positive ways of helping children to develop inner control. Acceptable behavior is always rewarded with praise, encouragement, and loving guidance from teachers and staff.

Your child's health is important to us, therefore nursing services are provided through a part time nurse who is stationed in the Savannah Mayo Activity Center. This service is provided free to our students through the United Way and St. Patrick's Hospital.

UCF Child Development Center provides breakfast, hot lunches and two snacks daily. These meals meet all components from the food groups which require meat, bread, milk, fruit, and vegetables daily.
